Tis the season for giving! And there has never been a more important time to give to MainStage. MainStage faces a substantial increase to production costs causing a significant budget shortfall for the current season. Production expenses have risen dramatically across the board in the last couple of years and the struggle to meet budget projections for each show this season is very, very real.

The exciting news is an anonymous donor kick-started our giving campaign with $5,000. Can we match and surpass this incredible gift? Your contribution can make it happen! We have set a goal of December 24 to raise these much-needed dollars.

In the past, we’ve hosted fundraisers to raise this kind of money. But being frank, we don’t have time for that this year. Plus, like production costs, the expenses incurred for a fundraiser have also increased considerably. Not to mention, money raised at fundraisers benefit the theater at about 50 cents on the dollar.

The dollars you give are considered tax-deductible by the IRS. You will receive an acknowledgment for your contribution. In addition, your name will be listed in the MainStage performance programs for the rest of the 2023-2024 season.
