BACKSTAGE ART EXHIBIT - CALL FOR ARTWORK

Copyright and Liability: Artwork must be an original work of art created by the submitting artist and not infringe on any existing copyrights. If the artwork includes an image of a person, the artist certifies that a model release has been obtained.
The artist will be expected to sign a release of liability. While the curator and Main Stage will use caution when handling works submitted neither will be responsible for any loss or damage to the artwork.
Artwork Requirements: All artworks need to be securely wired and ready to hang. The art will be displayed in frames or have finished edges, preferably with a minimum 1 ½ ” depth. No staples showing. Size should be no larger than 60 x 60. Weight limit is 30lbs. The artist is expected to assist with the hanging of their work. Artist will also provide two typed artwork labels or business cards for each piece of art submitted. One will be affixed to the back of the artwork and the other will be visible to the viewer. There will be a place for the artist to leave business cards or bio sheets should they wish
Sales: All sales will be arranged between the artist and buyer directly. A donation to MainStage, Irving Las Colinas of 10% of the Sales Price is encouraged upon the sale of artwork. The artist is liable for all taxes and commissions.
Artwork Drop Off / Pickup:
DROP OFF of artwork is Saturday, October 30 between and 11:00a and 1:00p.
PICK UP from exhibit is March 26 between 10am and noon
